ProfileRaymonde Lemire, President Raymonde brings 30 years of experience in the administration field to the operation of her business services company. For almost 20 years she was engaged at Canada Post Corporation as a bilingual administrative assistant to middle managers and executives. Since establishing Documents Etcetera in 1996, she has been successful in continually providing outstanding service while growing her client base. She is a self-starter who works well both independently and in a team environment. She has excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, is results oriented and client-focused. A believer in technology and process, she champions the use of time tracking software and supporting procedures within her company. In addition to expertise in a wide range of office, database, web tools and publishing software, she has strong financial management and bookkeeping talents and extensive experience using Quicken, QuickBooks and Simply Accounting. A fully bilingual professional, she has a Certificate in Management Studies from Algonquin College and is acknowledged as an expert in supporting the logistics of meetings using the Open Space method. Raymonde is an active member of the International Virtual Assistants Association. She is the co-founder of the Ottawa Virtual Alliance – an association for virtual assistants in the Ottawa area – and is a committed member of the Réseau socioaction des femmes francophones de l’est ontarien (RéSAFF). Her business successes were recognized by the Réseau socioaction des femmes francophones de l’est ontarien (RéSAFF) (Francophone Women’s Network of Eastern Ontario) when she received the Entrepreneur of the Year Award (March, 2006). Denise has been active in the community services sector for the past 25 years, as a researcher, consultant and president of various organizations. She has expertise in implementing, managing and assessing community organizations and has worked on behalf of non-profit organizations and associations, with a focus on strategic planning, project evaluation and program implementation. Joining Documents Etcetera in early 2005, she not only brings to the team research, writing and management skills but also a unique sensitivity to the challenges that many of her clients face. In her role as a project and event manager, she places value on teamwork, respecting differences and creativity. Her participatory approach facilitates a better understanding of each project, and encourages stakeholder involvement. She has strong communication skills and subject matter knowledge that assist clients in the production of membership and marketing materials as well as press releases and sponsorship support products. Denise has been involved in a variety of organizations promoting and supporting francophone women. She is the co-founder and currently a member of the Réseau socioaction des femmes francophones (RéSAFF) – a network of French-speaking business and professional women in eastern Ontario. From 2002 to 2005, she held the position of Director General of the Association des auteures et auteurs de l’Ontario français. Fluently bilingual, she has a Masters degree in sociology from the University of Ottawa. Cassandra Joly , Project Officer Cassandra is a recent graduate of La Cité Collégiale in Ottawa where she obtained a diploma in Marketing and a subsequent diploma in Events Management. Her extensive knowledge of computer software programs and Internet capabilities makes her a real asset to the team. She is very customer service oriented and continually looks for challenging work assignments. Cassandra is currently responsible for formatting newsletters, email blasts, managing the membership databases and distribution lists and carrying out web maintenance for Documents Etcetera’s client.
Nicole Fortin, Bookkeeping and Financial Management Nicole brings finance and bookkeeping experience to the group. She has worked in the finance departments of companies such as Lafleur de la Capitale Inc. and two Ottawa French school boards (Conseil des écoles catholiques de langue française du Centre-Est [CECLFCE] and Conseil scolaire de district catholique centre-sud [CSDCCS]). Nicole is responsible for the provision of bookkeeping and financial services to Documents Etcetera and its clients. She has strong analytical and organizational skills in fulfilling activities that encompass banking, accounts receivable, accounts payable, bank reconciliations, and monitoring and reporting of financial activities. With a focus on timeliness and accuracy, Nicole has been a welcome addition to the team. Our staff is also composed of various contract employees hired accordingly to our needs and projects.
Jennifer Baker, Administrative Manager Jennifer Baker is a highly professional administrative manager with extensive experience working directly with confidential client information. She is comfortable working in a fast-paced team environment or working under tight deadlines. Competently bilingual, she is proficient in all MS Office applications as well as in other computer applications including Simply Accounting with knowledge of basic web design. She is responsible for managing all aspects of the office, for example, keeping accurate and balanced financial records including payroll, handling client issues, reconciling client and vendor accounts. Jennifer has acquired experience creating marketing and pricing material, and organizing promotional events. She implemented a new computer program to replace paper scheduling which resulted in improved payment and appointment tracking while also greatly improving the client experience. She plays a major role in the management of some of our organizations.
